Service Description:
|
York Rainbow Support Services: includes counselling, group support and referrals for individual, couples, families, young children and teens from the 2SLGBTQ+ community and their allies, friends and families.
Counselling services and groups: Gender Galaxies Group (12-17 youth), Trans Support Group (adults 18+) and Free to Be (adults 18+) * all counsellors are experienced in 2SLGBTQ+ related issues such as:- coming out
- sexual orientation and gender identity issues
- life transitions
- relationship issues
- marriage transitions
- couple conflict
- discrimination
- aging
- parenting
FSYR also offers 2SLGBTQ+ Group programs

Fees are based on a sliding scale according to the individual's income and ability to pay * No one is turned away because of inabiity to pay. Proof of income may be required to ensure equity and fairness to hose they serve
